PSSR Central Africa Campus 2025: Training, Exchange, and Innovation

From June 30 to July 4, 2025, the Parts & Services (P&S) Division organized an intensive training week in Gabon, marking the fifth edition of an event that has now become a must for central P&S teams, subsidiaries, and partners. A total of 77 participants from 16 different countries took part in this ambitious training program, aimed at strengthening the advisory posture and expertise of our teams while aligning commercial practices.

This training is part of the continuous improvement process of our P&S teams, where formal sessions and exchanges of ideas between teams and partners were at the core of the program. Participants also had access to the latest developments in existing product ranges, while discovering new solutions designed to meet current market challenges.

The sessions were organized along two axes — by theme and by key sectors for Tractafric Equipment: construction, mining, oil and gas, as well as material handling. This detailed segmentation allowed for the creation of more relevant and tailored training content.

A major highlight of the week was the participation of 15 partner trainers, who shared their hands-on experience directly with field teams. These exchanges are crucial in creating synergy among participants and ensuring that market needs are well understood and integrated into our offers.

A first this year — to strengthen the integration of our Chinese teams — training sessions were delivered in Chinese by CEL, Caterpillar’s Chinese dealer, an initiative that was warmly welcomed by all.

To recognize best practices and outstanding achievements, eight trophies were awarded across different categories, continuing the friendly spirit of competition and excellence that defines this event.

This annual gathering is a unique opportunity for our P&S teams to align with market developments while reinforcing ties with our partners. It ensures they are better equipped to face future challenges and seize opportunities in an ever-evolving, highly competitive market.
