More performance and flexibility
The powerful C4.4 Engine supports the increased capacity of the feeding system as well as hopper inserts, to provide continuous pavement laying. The tight 90° turning capability allows the paver to pivot and cover tracks during a return pass. The standard paving range using the SE47 VT table is from 2.4 m to 4.7 m (7 ft 10 in to 15 ft 4 in), with a maximum width of 6.0 m (19 ft 8 in). The standard paving range with an SE50 V table extends from 2.55 m to 5.0 m (8 ft 4 in - 16 ft 4 in), with a maximum width of 7.64 m (25 ft). Paving depths up to 300 mm (12 in) allow for aggregate paving applications.
Simplified transportation
The combined weight of the paver and the 16 tm (35,258 lb) table facilitates transportation on various types of trailers. The length of less than 5.72 m (18 ft 9 in) and a width of 2.55 m (8 ft 4 in) when equipped with the SE47 VT table allows for transportation of the machine without a special permit. The length of less than 6.0 m (19 ft 6 in) and a width of 2.55 m (8 ft 4 in) when equipped with the SE50 VT table and foldable end gates allows for transportation of the machine without a special permit. The 15° front loading angle and the high clearance of the front bumper reduce the need for additional support when loading onto various types of trailers. Attachment points located at the front, rear, and center of the machine facilitate securing the load during fast movements to the next job site.
Exceptional mobility
The Mobil-trac™ undercarriage offers incredible mobility, extraordinary traction, high travel speeds, and unparalleled maneuverability on the job site. Reverse rotation chains provide excellent maneuverability in tight spaces. Automatic tension accumulators, central guide blocks, and robust cables for the inner treads ensure longevity. Rubber-coated components help remove asphalt and prevent accumulation. An effective stone guard keeps materials away from the chains and helps eliminate areas of cold mix caused by chain compression.
Fluid material flow
The low entry height of the dump truck and the small front apron improve material flow while facilitating cleaning. The design of the feeding system, with a 355 mm (14") diameter feeding screw, allows for a steady flow of material along the table, providing efficient flow for both narrow and wide coating widths. More Comfort
The optional ventilation system draws fumes from the feed screw chamber away from the driver. This allows the driver to have a more comfortable working environment. The unique sliding console allows operation from both sides of the machine, providing optimal visibility on edges, edges, and cross joints. The Cat C4.4 Engine provides a power of 110 kW (148 HP) with variants compliant with Tier 4 Final EPA emissions standards for the United States or Stage V for the European Union. The Cat C4.4 Engine also complies with the UN ECE R96 Stage IIIA emissions standards, equivalent to Tier 3 EPA standards for the United States and Stage IIIA for the European Union, and provides a power of 106 kW (142 HP). The exclusive Eco mode, as well as automatic engine speed control, reduce fuel consumption and decrease noise levels for better comfort and smoother communication. The conveyor base plates and chain cases are designed to minimize repairs and offer low-cost replacement. Maintenance-free high-torque engines reduce maintenance requirements for feed screw and conveyor drive systems.
