Mastering and Driving Comfort
Simplified entry and exit thanks to an improved cabin with a foldable armrest. Drivers kept informed of the condition and operation of the machine through the VIMS™ 3G machine monitoring system. Improved safety and visibility thanks to the standard rear vision camera. Automatic temperature control allows for the preservation of selected temperature settings. Power and Efficiency
The powerful and responsive 7.1 CAT® engine has been designed to provide maximum energy efficiency and superior density. Reliable performance and low emissions. High productivity with optional four-direction tilt blade. Both available engines comply with Tier 4 Final (EPA United States) and Stage V (EU) emission standards or equivalent Tier 3 (EPA United States) and Stage IIIA (EU) emission standards. For Tier 4 Final and Stage V option, the Cat clean emissions module contains a diesel oxidation catalyst, a diesel particulate filter, and a Cat regeneration system using SCR technology. Regeneration is fully automatic and does not interrupt the machine's work cycle. Benefit from optimal responsiveness and control with the integrated direction and transmission control system (STIC™). Save more fuel with automatic electrical circuit and engine shutdown. Get an extra boost on slopes and save fuel by using this boost during gear shifts with the all-new APEC transmission controls. Drivers are less fatigued with the throttle lock that maintains engine speed and reduces fuel consumption.
Boosted Productivity by Technologies
The Compact 3D Cat mapping technology combines advanced compaction measurement, in-cab guidance, and reporting capabilities to help you achieve your compaction goals as quickly and uniformly as possible, with fewer passes (thus saving fuel and unnecessary rework costs). Cat Compaction Control with Machine Drive Power (MDP) is an energy-based measurement system that correlates compaction with rolling resistance to provide an indication of soil stiffness. The Link technology (standard) allows you to know the location of the machines, their number of operating hours, fuel consumption, downtime, events, and diagnostic codes through the VisionLink® online interface.
Optimization of Compaction
The chevron-shaped compaction tip ensures better ground pressure, more efficient compaction, excellent grip, and smooth driving. The symmetrical compaction tips ensure uniform compaction in both forward and reverse motion. The tips are distributed around the entire perimeter of the wheel and can be replaced. Each tip is welded onto a support, which is directly welded onto the drum. Each wheel has two cleaning bars that prevent dirt from accumulating on the drums, regardless of the direction of rotation, for optimal efficiency. The steel is subjected to heat treatment and direct quenching, which extends their service life, thus reducing operating costs.
