Power and Efficiency
When active, the Autoshift mode allows the machine to shift up or down based on its speed and torque, optimizing performance and saving fuel. The left pedal is used to brake, neutralize the transmission, and slow down the engine to neutralize the selected engine speed when the accelerator lock is engaged. This allows the driver to slow down when the accelerator lock is activated and reactivate the accelerator lock without pressing a resume or set button. This function facilitates maneuvering around dump trucks, tractors, or any other obstacles. The Integrated Steering and Transmission Control (STIC™) system enhances user comfort by integrating steering and transmission functions into a single controller. Includes fingertip-controlled gears. The load-sensing hydraulic steering circuit ensures smooth steering regardless of speed and engine speed. Variable displacement piston pumps improve efficiency. The 43-degree articulation steering angle on each side allows for precise positioning to facilitate operation in confined spaces. Electrohydraulic controls help ensure responsive and predictable equipment control. Electronically controlled hydraulic cylinder stops provide smooth operation, reducing user fatigue.
Long-term profitability and long lifespan
Designed and manufactured with specific structures to remain safe and reliable in the long term. The long-lasting design, materials, and robotic welding ensure numerous life cycles and the ability to withstand the most difficult conditions. The fully enclosed rear chassis resists both torsional forces and shocks. The extra-strong anchor points of the steering cylinders efficiently transmit steering loads to the chassis.
Performance with less fuel
Single Clutch Shift System (SCSS) provides a smooth, flexible, and efficient gear shifting. The strategic use of metallurgical and thermal treatments ensures the longevity of the gears. The torque converter with lock-up clutch improves energy efficiency and translation speeds, and eliminates losses from the torque converter while reducing circuit temperature. The C15 Cat engine has been designed and tested to meet your most demanding applications. The two available engine options comply with Tier4 Final/LevelIV emission standards or equivalent Tier3/LevelIIIA emission standards (depending on the market). The fully integrated electronic engine controls work in conjunction with the entire machine for increased fuel savings. The engine idle shutdown function saves fuel during idle periods. The delayed engine shutdown optimizes lifespan.
Optimization of compaction
The chevron-shaped compaction tip ensures better ground pressure, more efficient compaction, excellent grip, and smooth driving. Compaction is done from the lower layer to the upper layer. The conical tips are extracted from the layer without damaging the ground. The upper layer is compacted and the surface is relatively smooth and firm, allowing transport vehicles to move at high speed on the embankment. The translation speed of the 825K offers four compaction forces: pressure, manipulation, impacts, and vibrations. This compactor also allows for material spreading, potentially reducing the number of spreading tractors needed for the project. The symmetrical compaction tips ensure uniform compaction in forward and reverse motion. The tips are distributed around the entire perimeter of the wheel and can be replaced. Each wheel has two cleaning bars that prevent dirt from accumulating on the drums, regardless of the direction of rotation, for optimal efficiency. The cleaning bars are available with standard or abrasive tips depending on the application. The bars are adjustable and the bar tips have a steel cutting blade subjected to heat treatment and direct quenching, for superior durability.
Mastery and driving comfort
The pressurized cabin is mounted on shock absorbers to improve comfort and reduce noise. The cabin includes a storage tray/meal basket strategically positioned at ground level. The Comfort Cat series III seat includes a mid-height backrest and ultra-thick padded cushions, a pneumatic suspension system, adjustable in six directions, and a control box for equipment and STIC steering mounted on the seat and moving with it for optimal comfort. The control panel provides users with information and controls for faster and safer adjustments. The single STIC control provides maximum responsiveness and control through the STIC system, combining direction selection, gear selection, and steering in a single lever.
Built-in security features
The guardrails, ladders, and non-slip surfaces improve the safety of the technician and the driver. The design ensures that three points of contact can be maintained at all times thanks to maintenance areas accessible from the ground or a platform. The rear camera with an in-cabin monitor informs the driver of what is happening around the machine. Strobe warning lights with diodes mounted on the cabin as standard. Optional heated mirrors ensure optimal visibility for increased safety. Optional LED headlights provide excellent visibility in the work area. Reduced vibration levels for the driver thanks to cabin mounts and equipment and steering controls mounted on the seat. Low interior noise levels. Pressurized cabin with filtered air.
