Efficiency with Autoshift When active, the Autoshift mode allows the machine to automatically shift to a higher or lower gear based on its speed, optimizing performance and therefore saving fuel. This function can be easily enabled or disabled using the touch keyboard. Deceleration Pedal The left pedal allows braking, neutralizing the transmission, and slowing down the engine to neutralize the selected engine speed when the accelerator lock is engaged. This allows the driver to slow down when the accelerator lock is activated and reactivate it without pressing a resume or adjustment button. This function facilitates maneuvering around dump trucks, tractors, or any other obstacle. Integrated Direction and Transmission Control System (STIC™) Benefit from maximum responsiveness and control with the STIC system, which combines direction selection, gear selection, and steering into a single lever. A simple movement of the lever to the right or left allows for turning right or left, reducing driver effort. Very easy gear selection at the touch of a finger. Smoother and faster cycles reduce driver fatigue thanks to the use of integrated controls that require minimal effort. Steering Circuit Safe machine operation begins with precise control. That's why we equipped our 824K with a hydraulic load sensing steering circuit. Boost your efficiency with our variable displacement pumps. Ensure precise positioning for easy loading in confined spaces with a 43-degree articulation steering angle on each side. Enhance driver comfort with integrated steering and transmission controls. The fully enclosed rear chassis resists both torsional forces and shocks. The extra-robust anchorages of the steering cylinders efficiently transmit the steering loads to the chassis. The axle assembly has been optimized for increased structural integrity. Push Bar and Push Arm Blade Design Solid one-piece push bars are attached across the entire width of the chassis, not just on the side, to ensure optimal lifespan and reliability. In the corners of the discharge, the stresses are thus transmitted and absorbed by a larger part of the chassis.

Cat C15 Engine The Cat C15 engine has been designed and tested to meet your most demanding applications. The two available engines comply with Tier 4 Final (EPA USA)/Stage IV (EU) emissions standards or are equivalent to Tier 3 (EPA USA)/Stage IIIA (EU) emissions standards. The fully integrated electronic engine controls work in harmony with the entire machine for increased fuel efficiency. The engine's idle shutdown function reduces fuel consumption during idle. Machine Access The left and right ladders are inclined to enhance safety when the driver is climbing up or down the 824K. A continuous crossbeam with handrails and non-slip surfaces on the skirting boards is integrated into the maintenance areas. Three points of contact can be maintained at all times through maintenance areas accessible from the ground or a platform.
