Designed for Drivers
This silent and comfortable cabin offers excellent visibility all around. Pressurization helps reduce dust in the cabin and a standard suspension seat has multiple adjustments for better driver comfort. The dashboard features highly readable gauges to monitor fuel levels, engine speed, temperature levels, etc. Lights and warnings inform drivers of restrictions on air intake into the engine, the powertrain, fuel filters, or the presence of water in the fuel. Ergonomic equipment and steering controls require minimal effort for simple and precise use. Use a single handle for direction and speed changes with the simple press of a button. Equipment neutralization prevents accidental operation of hydraulic work tools. An optional automatic downshifting feature automatically shifts to the most efficient gear ratio based on the load, reducing fuel consumption and increasing productivity. Use an optional bidirectional control to preselect a forward/reverse gear ratio for reduced effort and increased efficiency.
Performance and Productivity
The C9 Cat engine provides the power you need to push back difficult materials. The differential steering increases the speed of one track while slowing down the other to offer exceptional maneuverability, even when the blade is fully loaded. A unique differential coupler sends 70% of the engine torque to the converter and 30% to a planetary system. This gives you more power to the ground. With the dual pump hydraulic circuit, you get both responsive blade control and exceptional steering performance. This gives you increased precision and maneuverability, which is particularly useful for clearing work or in tight spaces. The load sensing hydraulic circuit constantly adjusts hydraulic power to optimize your efficiency. The efficient aluminum plate cooling package provides cooling capacity to handle high ambient temperatures. Versions for forestry, waste management, and low temperatures offer additional features and protections to adapt to particularly challenging environments.
Designed for Long-Term Production
The elevated drive wheel design from Caterpillar protects the reducers from shocks transmitted by the ground. Choose the configuration (standard, XL, or LGP) that best suits the situation and application. Track available in extra-robust or Cat Abrasion version to adapt to your application. The robust chassis of each Cat tractor is designed to absorb high impact loads and resist torsional forces. Keyed pivot shafts are connected to the main chassis and carrier frames to allow independent oscillation. This provides greater robustness and better ground clearance; moreover, the tractor can better adapt to the terrain configuration for maximum grip and optimal driver comfort. High-efficiency fuel filters, with fuel water presence sensors, improve the strength of the fuel circuit. The alternator is now placed in a high location for better protection, especially in humid and sandy environments.
Equipped for the tasks to be performed
With extremely robust bulldozer blades and a wide range of rear equipment, you can equip your tractor according to your needs. The L-shaped push arms bring the blade closer to the machine, ensuring better balance, maneuverability, and blade penetration. The improved lateral stability and better positioning of the cylinders allow for consistent extraction, regardless of the blade height. Due to its design, the pivot joint requires no adjustment to keep the blade in place. The push blades are solid, multi-cellular design and are made of high-strength, traction-resistant steel to withstand the toughest applications. Semi-universal, straight, and adjustable blades are available, as well as special blades for sanitary discharge and clearing applications. Equip your tractor with a three-tooth ripper with curved or straight ripper teeth. Rear counterweights optimize balance when backing up on sloping terrain and increase performance when pushing large volumes. Choose a towing and recovery bar or equip your tractor with a winch.
Because Productive Time Matters
Designed for easier repair and maintenance. You spend less time on maintenance and more time on work. Maintenance points are grouped together and level gauges allow you to easily check fluid levels. High-efficiency fuel filters, with water presence sensors, improve productive time. The air conditioning condenser installed on top of the cabin increases capacity while improving maintenance and engine cooling. Cat remanufactured parts and certified Cat renovations give your machine a second or even third life. They incorporate the latest technical modifications. You are thus equipped with a tractor in a like-new condition and benefit from a new warranty. Product Link™ collects machine data, which is then accessible online through web and mobile applications. Specially Designed Models
The version for forestry operations is available with optional protections such as roll bars, windshields, and additional protections so that your machine is equipped to face difficult conditions. The cooling system has been designed for particularly dusty environments, offering easy access for cleaning. The cold weather starting kit includes a reversible fan and an industrial alternator/battery. The Arctic cabin with double glazing, as well as the optional heated pneumatic suspension seat, offer the driver greater comfort in very cold weather. The solid hood provides enhanced protection against snow and ice, and the oils and seals of the reducers are designed to withstand cold weather. The waste/landfill chain loader is equipped with special protection, scraping bars, and special seals that protect the machine from impacts and debris that wrap around/are present in the air. The easily cleanable cooling system is designed for environments with a large amount of debris. Specialized air treatment functions provide clean air for the machine. The landfill discharge blades and centrally recessed chain pads help optimize your waste/landfill chain loader for the task at hand.
