The C7.1 Cat Engine combines power and reliability while offering optimal energy efficiency. Optimized undercarriage: eight (8) lower rollers and two (2) upper rollers for smoother driving and excellent finishing leveling. The wide blade allows for more tasks to be completed in fewer passes. The traction control function reduces chain slippage on loose or muddy terrain. The Variable Pitch Angle Tilt (VPAT) blade offers more versatility and easier adjustment. Precise and intuitive electrohydraulic controls thanks to sensitivity adjustment. The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) conveniently places machine data, settings menus, and other information in front of the operator. It includes a display for the rear camera, eliminating the need for an additional monitor. Maintenance is easy thanks to grouped maintenance and diagnostic points. Convenient ground-level access allows for easy access to the primary fuel filter and water separator. The machine is easy to transport without removing the blade. Move More Materials While Consuming Less Fuel
The Eco modes optimize the engine speed while maintaining ground speed, which allows for up to 18% fuel savings in applications where the load on the blade is lighter, such as finishing leveling. The automatic engine speed control reduces the engine speed at idle, thereby increasing fuel savings. The engine idle shutdown timer stops the machine after a defined idle operating time in order to save fuel and comply with idle operation regulations.

Cat Grade with Slope Assist™ automatically maintains the preset blade position without GPS signal. The new Cat Grade 3D offers more speed, more precision, and more flexibility. The factory-installed system eliminates position sensing cylinders. Antennas integrated into the cab roof for better protection. The 10-inch (254 mm) touch screen, more intuitive, is also easier to use. AutoCarry™ automates blade lifting to optimize blade load, improve load consistency, and reduce chain slippage. The Cat Blade Stability Control works in conjunction with electrohydraulic controls to assist the operator in blade control operations, achieving better finish grading more quickly and with less effort. The standard Slope Indicate system displays cross slope and fore/aft orientation of the machine directly on the main screen. The integrated Attachment Ready Option (ARO) simplifies the installation of all brands of grading control systems. All Cat Grade systems are compatible with Trimble, Topcon, and Leica radios and base stations. Have you already invested in a grading infrastructure?
