Improvement of Visibility
The new sloping hood improves visibility on the work area in front of the blade, as well as on the entire construction site. Better visibility can result in less driver fatigue and greater confidence in your work.
Technologies Grade
The Cat Grade 2D and 3D modular systems offer technologies such as Slope Assist, Stable Blade, and Slope Indicate for easier and more efficient use, while providing the necessary flexibility to adapt different technologies to the requirements of the job site. All Cat Grade systems are compatible with Trimble, Topcon, and Leica radios and base stations. Have you already invested in a leveling infrastructure? You can install Trimble, Topcon, and Leica leveling systems on the machine.

Comfortable Workspace
The spacious and comfortable cabin includes an optional heated and ventilated seat, with heated control manipulator, for the driver's utmost comfort regardless of the external conditions. The seat height and armrests are easily adjustable according to the driver's preference.
Bigger, More User-Friendly Display With Camera
This new 10in (254mm) color display module with improved touch screen, available as an option, is easy to use with a perfect view of machine settings, a rear vision camera, and Slope Indicate/Slope Assist screens. The large rear camera provides the driver with better visibility on the construction site.
Robust Rolling Train
The D2 is available with an abrasion-resistant or sealed and lubricated track (SALT) undercarriage to better meet your application needs. The undercarriage offers a longer lifespan, reducing downtime. The monobloc design of the main frame/carrier frame and the large double reduction planetary gear allows the machine to push heavy loads.
