Increased Productivity
Increased Productivity Increase in productivity up to 5%. Transmission orders with Advanced Productivity Electronic Control Strategy (APECS) provide higher torque between gears, resulting in faster cycle times, especially on slopes. The machine's speed limiting function selects the optimal gear for the current speed. Thanks to the automatic calibration function, the transmission reaches operating temperature more quickly at startup when operating in cold climate regions. Starting in second gear allows for bypassing engagement of first gear based on terrain, improving cycle time, minimizing gear shifts, and operating the machine at optimal speed from the start. Various bin options, as well as combinations of reinforcements and extensions, offer great flexibility for transporting a wide variety of materials without compromising payload. No derating is necessary up to 3048 m (10,000 ft) altitude.
Dynamic Energy Efficiency
Dynamic Energy Efficiency Fuel savings thanks to optimized fuel mapping of the engine. The configurable economy mode allows for adapting the engine power reduction according to the application. The engine derating can vary from 0.5% to 15%. The adaptive economy mode determines the most efficient operating point of the engine when the dump truck is operating continuously. The most efficient operating point is calculated based on the fuel savings data provided by the customer to meet productivity requirements. Save fuel with the integrated engine idle shutdown feature that automatically shuts down the engine when the dump truck is parked and idling for a predefined period of time. Automatic downshifting to neutral saves fuel by reducing torque load when the engine is in neutral and limits wear on transmission components.
Designed for Security
Designed for Safety The exceptional braking performance complies with the latest standards (ISO 3450:2011). The cabin with a robust four-point seat belt complies with ROPS/FOPS standards. Four-point seat belt for the driver and sub-abdominal seat belt for the instructor seat. The seat belt indicator emits visual and audible signals when the operator is not attached. The locking device allows the maintenance technician to work on the machine in safety mode. The auxiliary steering automatically activates in case of major system failure. The overload speed limiter works with the dump truck load weighing system to automatically reduce the machine's speed when overloaded. The access ladder, long walkway, and steps equipped with non-slip plates provide safe access to the cabin. The Cat Detect system, equipped with cameras and radar, monitors objects that appear in the machine's blind spots to ensure safe driving.
Ease of use
Ease of Use Next-generation gear lever with integrated parking brake and lifting control for easy operation. Cutting-edge touchscreen display to allow the operator to navigate the machine's control system during operation and maintenance. Improved rear visibility for the operator thanks to a new set of side mirrors for the machine.
Integrated Cat Technologies
Integrated Cat Technologies The Product Link™ system allows wireless connection to each machine to know its location, service hours, fuel consumption, productivity, downtime, and diagnostic codes. Vital Information Management System (VIMS): the monitor with a user-friendly interface available in the cabin allows monitoring of key machine parameters. The Truck Production Management System (TPMS) provides accurate material weighing, stores 2,400 payload cycles, and provides reports on weights, transport cycle times, and distances with timestamps (optional).
A Longer Lifespan
A Longer Lifespan New C32B engine with IFL heads (Integrated Fuel Lines) and dual coolant sensor protection for improved lifespan, uniform temperature, and structural robustness. Greater transmission lifespan and smooth gear shifting with APECS. Separate transmission and hydraulic circuit tanks eliminate any risk of cross-contamination and extend oil lifespan. Automatic timing quickly adapts to operating temperatures to improve performance and lifespan. Delayed engine shutdown prevents interruptions due to high temperature that can reduce component lifespan. The new LED lighting kit includes headlights, spotlights, turn signals, and reverse lights for optimal visibility and durability.
