Overview

Optimize Performance

Caterpillar is pleased to present the 775G Construction Truck. You may be wondering how, after 40 years of building construction trucks, Caterpillar has been able to further improve this product to support your activities.

The G series has been designed and manufactured using the latest quality control technologies in terms of both software and hardware. Before going into production, this product has been tested for over 30,000 hours by customers, so we are confident in delivering a ready-to-use, reliable, and robust construction truck.

In addition to quality, Cat G series trucks will reduce your costs by limiting fuel consumption in seven ways. We offer two customizable fuel-saving modes for you to choose the desired level. By adding Cat G series trucks to your fleet, you will increase productivity, spend less time on maintenance, and also contribute to the environment thanks to the efficiency of these machines. Your staff will appreciate the comfort and all the new amenities of the redesigned cabin. In summary, Cat G series trucks can and will make a difference in your business and with your employees.

Fuel Saving Strategies Standard economy mode: G series machines are capable of adjusting the engine power according to your needs. This feature allows for fuel savings by reducing power from 0.15 to 15%. Adaptive economy mode: This new feature in the G series requires setting a production reference. Throughout its transport cycle, the dump truck constantly evaluates opportunities to reduce power and fuel consumption based on the references. Fully automated, this function does not require any specific intervention. Speed limitation: Although you can still limit the gears of the G series dump trucks, Caterpillar now allows you to use a new speed limitation feature. Speed limitation allows the dump truck to use the gear that offers the best energy efficiency. Automatic downshifting to neutral: When the 775G Dump Truck is waiting for a loader or crusher at idle with a forward speed, the transmission automatically shifts to neutral to prevent torque converter stalling and engine speed increase. As soon as the driver releases the brake or accelerates, the dump truck instantly returns to the original forward speed. Engine idle shutdown: When your G series dump truck is in a parked position and remains idle for longer than the duration predefined by the customer, the dump truck triggers an engine shutdown to save fuel. This feature can be adjusted, enabled, or disabled according to your specific needs.

Long-Term Profitability and Long Lifespan

Inverted Rear Cylinders On all machines in the G series, Caterpillar has reversed the rear suspension cylinders to better protect the rods and keep them cleaner for longer.

Structural integrity - Machines designed for years of use on construction sites!

Structures Improved cast parts, reinforced bolted joints, and a larger rear axle allow for adapting the chassis design to the rated powers and higher performance specifications of the dump truck.

Optimize performance

Engine The G series dump trucks retain the Cat C27 diesel engine, which ensures high efficiency and reliability. Offering a 5% increase in power, the C27 delivers higher torque in service. Benefiting from the precision and responsiveness of Cat MEUI electronic injectors and controls, the C27 precisely controls fuel flow, emissions, and performance. The C27 is carefully balanced with vibration controls to reduce noise and limit excessive wear. The C27 is cooled by a variable speed fan or a conventional cooling fan. POWERSHIFT TRANSMISSION WITH PLANETARY GEARS Thanks to its new control strategies, this proven transmission is more efficient than ever. Its new features include smooth gear changes like those in a car and increased torque during gear shifts, allowing the dump truck to accelerate faster and negotiate slopes more quickly.

Extra-sturdy Construction

775G - Extra-sturdy Construction

Dump Trucks Caterpillar makes it easier for you to choose the appropriate dump truck based on your materials and specific tasks for your construction site. The 775G can be equipped with a double slope dump body, a flat bottom dump body, or a quarry dump body. Our basic flat bottom and double slope dump bodies are equipped with a 20 mm (0.78 in) 400 BNH steel floor. An optional steel or rubber reinforcement can be added for applications using highly abrasive materials or subjected to violent impacts. Our quarry dump body is equipped with a 25 mm (0.98 in) 400 BNH steel floor. It is specially designed for work in limestone quarries that do not require additional reinforcement. Two sets of additional reinforcements can be factory-mounted for flat bottom and double slope dump bodies: - A 16 mm (0.62 in) 400 BNH steel reinforcement. - A 102 mm (4.01 in) rubber reinforcement. Extensions are available as an option from the factory for flat bottom or double slope dump bodies. A heat evacuation kit is available as an option for double slope and flat bottom dump bodies. You will find more details on the specifications of the dump bodies on the back of this document. CATERPILLAR'S 10/10/20 POLICY Caterpillar's 10/10/20 policy regarding payload is intended to help you maximize the lifespan of components and the availability of your dump truck. Your Cat dealer can explain the 10/10/20 payload policy in detail. For optimal lifespan of the dump body, Caterpillar recommends not using payloads exceeding 110% more than 10% of the time and ensuring that the average of all payloads equals the nominal payload. Payloads exceeding 120% of the nominal payload exceed the design parameters of the dump truck.

775G - Specific design

Your G series dump truck has the ability to transmit (and receive) important information. Indeed, this information can help you reduce your production cost per ton. DASHBOARD Thanks to the dashboard, the driver can quickly and easily consult all the information related to the machine. This display also alerts the operator through fixed indicators (warning level 1) or flashing indicators (warning level 2 or 3), as well as through an audible alarm that is triggered when an incident occurs. ADVISOR CAT DISPLAY MODULE The Advisor display module has five menus: 1. Driver: allows 10 people to configure individual preferences and profiles. 2. Monitoring: displays four parameters per screen, including the following: Payload (there are three sections): Payload status, Payload, and Target value. Payload status: will display "Loading in progress", "Last pass" or "Loaded". Payload: displays the calculated weight of the payload. The weight is calculated twice for confirmation. Target value: displays the target payload. 3. Maintenance: diagnostics including incidents, data recorder, parameters, calibrations, and other elements. 4. Settings: defines specific targets for self-lubrication intervals, speed limit, and other elements. 5. Maintenance mode: a portal to settings protected by a password. VIMS The Vital Information Management System (VIMS) includes the hardware and software used to track information about the machine and payloads, with display provided by the Advisor module of the 775G Dump Truck. VIMS is standard equipment and, like the dump truck's production management system, it helps better manage fleet efficiency and machine production while providing drivers with vital information about its operation. DUMP TRUCK PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The Cat dump truck production management system allows you to maximize the profitability of your dump truck purchase by ensuring that you transport appropriate payloads during each cycle. The side indicators allow the loader driver to know that they are making their last pass or that the dump truck is fully loaded. The dump truck production management system records 2,400 payload cycles and provides reports on weights, transport cycle times, distances, with timestamps. TKPH (TONNE-KILOMETER PER HOUR) AND TMPH (TONNE-MILE PER HOUR) TIRE MONITORING This program uses the payload value from the dump truck production management system, combines it with the ambient air temperature, machine speed, and TKPH (TMPH) rating

Built-in security features
