Powerful and efficient performance
The powerful C18 CAT® Engine complies with Tier 2 Final EPA emissions standards for the United States and Stage II for the European Union. The wheels positioned on the corners of the machine provide the smallest inner and outer turning radii to help maneuver in tight spaces, enhanced by four steering modes: front wheels only, rear wheels only, crab steering, and coordinated steering. The weight distribution between the front and rear ensures stability in tough cuts. The overall length of the machine at 8.72 m (28.61 ft) improves productivity and maneuverability in tight spaces. Four adjustable feet allow for up to + or - 12.5% (8 degrees) of tilt on each side when working on uneven terrain or when maintaining traction in challenging soil stabilization applications. A belt-driven rotor provides a flush cutting functionality on the right side. The electronically controlled all-wheel drive system optimizes traction and mobility as standard equipment.
Optimize productivity and the quality of the asphalt from the cabin
Advanced electronic controls with automatic load control provide an ideal asphalt quality by maintaining the rotor at the appropriate depth and the machine at an optimized speed for productivity and efficiency purposes. Use the full range of rotor speeds without ever leaving your seat. Instantly modify the material's particle size by adjusting the gates of the front and rear mixing chambers and using an easy-to-read indicator on the touchscreen display that informs the driver of the gate positions. The free position function of the rear rotor chamber gates simplifies use and allows the driver to select the desired downward pressure. The cut-out and return functions allow drivers to save time and maintain consistency with a simple press of a button. A multifunction joystick provides you with speed controls, reverse direction, and primary rotor controls at your fingertips.

Easy to use, easy to understand
Easily adapt the machine's functions to gradation specifications through a 25cm (10in) color touchscreen display module and push-button controls. Precise machine control is done through the manual steering wheel and joystick. Controls are ergonomically grouped by function for easy and quick access. Start the engine with a push-button; use a Bluetooth keychain or driver ID access code to recall saved driver preferences and profiles once connected.

K Cat system rotor for recycling and stabilization
Get superior material quality in different projects with the versatile K-system rotor that uses proven tool holder and base block components inherited from our road milling K-system rotor. The components are made from highly robust and abrasion-resistant alloys to withstand the stresses generated by difficult and high-power applications. The tools are precisely placed on the rotor to provide ideal material calibration and homogeneous mixing results. The versatile Cat K-system rotor can be configured with pallet tool holder protection or bolted corner protection. The pallets ensure material calibration in deep recycling applications. The corners reduce ground adhesion in soil stabilization applications. The components can be rotated 180° for longer life. Spare tool holders can be selected for use with 20 or 22 mm tooth bits and offer multiple bit removal methods. A double-retention tapered tool holder design securely locks the tool holders in place without adjustment screws or bolts for faster replacements without the need for attachment or torque tightening. Bolt-on tool holder protection, end ring segments, and end ring wear protection plates eliminate the need for grinding and welding, simplifying refurbishment.
Easier maintenance, more productive time
The daily checkpoints and maintenance access points are grouped on a secure platform for greater safety and efficiency. Monitor the condition of fluids through regular sampling in order to extend drain intervals up to 500 hours for engine oil, 6,000 hours for hydraulic oil, and 12,000 hours for coolant. The automatically reversing cooling fan helps prevent debris buildup and extends maintenance intervals for cleaning the cooling system. A standard equipped compressed air system with two access points speeds up rotor tip replacements, powers pneumatic tools during maintenance, and can be used for general machine cleaning. Ground-level controls and optional suspended hydraulic rotor rotation simplify tip replacement and rotor cleaning. Maintenance doors located on each side of the rotor chamber provide easy access and allow inspection or replacement of end ring tips without having to go through the rotor chamber for maintenance. Optional high-pressure washing device for convenient cleaning. Integrated diagnostics monitor machine circuits, alert the operator of performance issues, and provide information for troubleshooting. Use certain machine functions during maintenance and servicing through the auxiliary drive system. The electrical circuit wiring is color-coded and numbered for easy identification. It is also protected by an abrasion-resistant nylon braid, ensuring extended lifespan. Remote troubleshooting allows connecting the machine to your Cat dealer for virtual diagnosis and problem resolution. If maintenance is required, a technician will intervene with the appropriate parts and tools on the first visit, reducing downtime. Remote updates monitor your activities to ensure the software of your machine is kept up to date for optimal performance and productivity.
Durability
The Cat C18 engine with dual turbocharger meets the Tier 4 Final EPA emissions standards for the United States and Stage V for the EU. Cat diesel engines that comply with Tier 4 Final EPA emissions standards for the United States, Stage V for the European Union, and Tier 5 for Korea must use ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel, diesel with a sulfur content of 15 ppm or less) or ULSD diesel blended with the following low carbon intensity fuels, up to: 20% biodiesel FAME (fatty acid methyl ester) or 100% renewable diesel, HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil), and GTL (gas-to-liquid). Engine idle speed management optimizes energy efficiency and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by increasing the engine speed to an intermediate idle speed for specific tasks and returning to a low idle speed once the task is completed. Automatic load control saves fuel and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by automatically adjusting the travel speed to the load applied to the engine for maximum production with optimal efficiency. Electronic controlled all-wheel drive with traction control maintains constant traction to increase machine efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions. Performance and safety can be enhanced with standard and optional cameras, with visible feedback on the large cabin screen. Extended maintenance intervals not only reduce downtime but also decrease the amount of fluid and filters replaced over the machine's lifespan. Cat Scheduled Oil Sampling (S•O•S℠) ports help reveal excessive wear, contaminated fluids, or other "invisible" issues that can shorten component life. In many cases, you can extend oil and coolant drain intervals by applying fluid monitoring. Consult your Cat dealer or the machine's operation and maintenance manual for more information.
