The Cat engine meets your requirements in terms of performance and production. The engine complies with the EPA Tier3 emissions standards in the United States and the EU Stage IIIA. Moving between sites is easier with translation speeds of up to 37km/h (23mph). Whether it's debris or asphalt, the hydraulic excavator meets your requirements to successfully complete your work, on time and efficiently. The advanced hydraulic circuit offers the optimal balance of power and efficiency while giving you the necessary control to meet precise needs. With an improved swing torque of 15%, work can be done faster and more efficiently. The specific swing pump provides constant power for better multitasking. The auxiliary hydraulic options ensure the versatility required to use a wide range of Cat equipment. Don't let temperature be an obstacle to work. The hydraulic excavator offers a high ambient temperature capacity of 52 °C (125 °F) and a cold start capacity of -18 °C (0 °F).

Optional Cat Payload onboard weighing system: achieve precise target loads and increase loading efficiency with mobile weighing and real-time payload estimates without the need to rotate. Combine Payload and VisionLink® to remotely manage your production goals or access payload data. With the monitor's USB port, you can download the past 30 days' work data to track job progress without needing an internet connection or VisionLink® subscription. Upgrade the system to Cat Grade with Advanced 2D module (optional): easily create and modify leveling plans on a second 254 mm (10 in) high-resolution touchscreen monitor. Upgrade the system to Cat Grade with 3D module (optional): easily create and modify plans and view the full range of front linkage movement on a second high-resolution touchscreen monitor. The optional factory-integrated 2D electronic barrier function prevents the hydraulic excavator from going beyond the points defined by the operator. All Cat Grade systems are compatible with Trimble, Topcon, and Leica radios and base stations. Have you already invested in a leveling infrastructure? You can install Trimble, Topcon, and Leica leveling systems on the machine.

Save up to 10% on maintenance parts with the new, more durable filters. Monitor the filter lifespan and maintenance intervals of your hydraulic excavator through the monitor inside the cabin. Two levels of fuel filtration protect the engine from dirty diesel fuel. The new hydraulic oil filter offers better filtration performance, as well as check valves to keep the oil perfectly clean when the filter is replaced. In addition, its lifespan is extended and its replacement interval is 3,000 hours (50% longer than previous filter designs). S•O•SSM ports are located at ground level, making maintenance easier and allowing for quick and easy sampling of fluids for analysis. Benefit from ample storage space for your equipment inside the cabin under and behind the seat, as well as overhead and in the consoles. A cup holder, bottle holder, and coat hook are also provided. The standard ROPS (Rollover Protective Structure) cabin complies with ISO 12117-2:2008. The standard hydraulic safety lever inhibits all hydraulic and translation functions when in the lowered position. The turret lock prevents the movement of the linkage during translation. When activated, the ground-level stop switch interrupts the fuel supply to the engine and stops the machine.
