Overview
The SE60 VT XW is capable of producing extremely strong and high-density coating textures. It uses rear-mounted extensions, screed bars, and vibrating smoothing plates. It also has a paving range from 3.0 to 10.0 m (9' 10" - 33'). Its performance is optimal on highways, airport runways, and other wide applications.

Fast Heating
Combined with the advanced plate heating system, the 70 kW generator integrated into the tractor ensures fast and uniform heat distribution. With a heating time of 15 minutes for standard widths, the smoothing plates quickly reach their predetermined temperature, allowing you to increase your daily production and reduce fuel consumption. For maximum widths, the heating of the smoothing plates takes only 25 minutes.
Snow Grooming Bars
The tamper bars efficiently slide the material under the smoothing plates to achieve precompaction. The adjustable progressive rates of starting and stopping ensure an impeccable finish of the asphalt pavement. Additionally, the laying speed is automatically adjusted.
Exclusive Zone Surveillance
The exclusive generator system monitors the heating elements to detect failure conditions and plan maintenance more easily. In addition, zone temperature monitoring allows for continued heating in the event of a sensor failure. Warning indicators are displayed on the LCD screens.
Increased Control
The extensions are equipped with 2 speed ranges and proportional controls ensuring better performance when obstacles are present. The suspended controls located on the extensions allow operators to perform tasks remotely. The conveyor ratio adjustment can be made from the table control panel when using the 2-sensor power system to maintain an optimal material height in front of the table.
Integrated Cat Grade Control
The Cat Grade Control system, integrated at the factory, allows the team to work from the tractor or table consoles. The split screen mode allows users to work on one side or on both sides of the table. This feature is particularly useful for training new recruits or when the team is tasked with multiple tasks on the construction site.
Easy Maintenance, Increased Durability
On one hand, waterproof consoles and LCD screens ensure optimal performance in the most difficult conditions. On the other hand, the keyboard switches, tested for one million cycles, and the oil-filled vibration housings significantly enhance long-term reliability. The heating elements slide for easy replacement.
Extra-large Installation Kits
The SE60 V XW can be equipped with extension kits allowing paving up to 10.0 m (33'). The crown, slope, and extension height power controls allow for easy adjustment for better texture and quality of the pavement. The exclusive fastening system uses power controls to attach the extensions, eliminating the need for additional lifting devices.
