How the Fuel Promise Program Works
The CAT® Fuel Promise Program is based on the average consumption of standard machines, calculated on the basis of 30% idle time, with predefined FPV (Fuel Promise Value) and FCV (Fuel Cap Value) thresholds.
For large production machines, a personalized consumption calculation is made according to the specific use of each machine.
If actual consumption exceeds the promised consumption, Caterpillar reimburses the difference.
Eligible Machine Categories
The Fuel Promise Program is available for all machines:
• Identified in the FPP program;
• Sold with a 1 to 3-year CVA (Customer Value Agreement);
• Connected to VisionLink.
